How do Injections Work?

A joint injection is a procedure that uses a needle to insert helpful substances into affected joints and the surrounding tissue, with the goal of improving mobility and alleviating the symptoms of common joint problems. You can also schedule a Private GP appointment to discuss any non-invasive options for alleviating joint pain.

In the case of steroid injections, this is an anti-inflammatory treatment designed to treat joint pain, arthritis, and sciatica. Hyaluronic acid injections are intended specifically for issues with the knee joint arising from osteoarthritis. Both are effective pain-relief options.
